The Passion and the perseverance...
Your are riding since...?
...I'm 3year old, so that's 24 years now!!
How did you get into this ?
At the beginning, I was an alpine racer, like most of the guy of my generation. But we only had training a few hours a day, so, I was spending the rest of time in the backcountry of "the white forest", my resort, discovering the cliffs, the lines, the jumps… We were a crew of kids, all the time by ourselves in the nature, a little like some young ghetto boys in the city... because the parents were working!!
What is the meaning of style?
The freedom to do you what you feel when you want
How would you describe your personal riding style?
Polyvalent is the most exact word. I do like everything as soon as I have my Amplid on! Backcountry, Big Mountain, Pow, Park shred...
What's your favorite ski/board model and what stance are you riding (ski: position to center - board: angle, width and position to center)
Cholesterone RC, 2,5cm in front of the the ski center Declaration 157, max. stance, 20°,-15°
What's your best trick you are currently pulling and what are you working on?
My best trick is a switch 10, but that's not my favorite. My favorite one is a big Switch 7 double japan in the backcountry
Your favorite riding spot?
-Japan, Russia, Canada, Chamonix, Chile...
What do you consider your most precious achievements in your live as a rider?
Freestylin' the glaciers, that's the future!! (global warming obliges!!).
What do you do when you don't ride?
Drawing, designing 3D, Motocross, Making love...
What if you got five hours to use Bill Gate's credit card. What would you do?
Go straight to Eurocopter , buy a B4 and his pilot. Go to Yamaha and buy a sled, then I give a phone call to a real estate to buy one house in Japan, one in BC, a big piece of land in Patagonia and one house in Chamonix!
