In times where big sport supermarkets paralize evolution with their housebrands, while copying what the riders on the very front have created, where profit driven mass market suppliers send only graphic files to huge factories to flood the market with low price clones made in the same open moulds dozens of other brands in that league are using, Amplid, as a truly rider owned brand, stands up in the face of this sell out and fights by shouting our main ethos: create the best performing product from the best materials.

All Amplid snowboards and skis are made in Amplid designed, built and owned moulds, to satisfy the demands of our next level riders. We constantly question the supply of ready-made pret-a-press raw materials - if we don't get the wood cores the way we want them we produce them ourselves. Our black magic is made on the premise that if we don't find the carbon fibre in the weaving we want, we weave it ourselves.

Another maxim we are striving for is juggling the balls of lightweight and durability. The restless search for new materials, experimenting by putting new things in and leaving traditions behind, creates such surprising products we have to tranquilize our riders upfront so they won't miss what's missing. At the same time we give them products that mesmerise: they don't have to ask how it's manufactured, just what time the lift opens.

We receive daily feedback from our cartel members all over the white planet. From our top pros who define new limits of our sport by every trick they pull and every face they ride, to the guys out there who represent the reincarnation of passion simply by living in RVs without heating, cleaning dishes in the evening to pay off their season passes or welding rails and boxes to make a living. This keeps us on the right track.

We ride and keep riding, we research and keep developing. Our 20 years of design and manufacturing, combined with our constant need to be on the snow makes us different. We are Amplid: the pro riders, the designers, the research and our undying love for riding makes us a formidable army to fight.
