THERE ARE ALWAYS REASONS
OUR PHILOSOPHY
There are always reasons, even behind reasons, but dig a little deeper and you'll find a basis and a cause. This is what Amplid does, it digs and aims to understand the demands of our next level riders, to realize their wishes and provide performance benefits to riders of all levels, ignoring conventions and standards in board and ski technology and production, taking riding to the next level. But we can only do this through understanding.
The who? The what? The where? The when? The why? Since we - the Amplid Research Cartel - created Amplid, we have strived to undertake things others wouldn't understand. By asking questions others are afraid to ask and to find the reasons for doing what one does.
Who is willing to sleep in a car when the outside temperature is -12°C simply to catch the first tracks the next morning? What is the motivation for hitting, and slamming, a kicker 99 times, only to stick it on the 100th attempt? Where can one find a secret spot one can really call ones own? When is a good time to call an end to an epic day on the mountain: before or after your body feels physically destructed. Why do we do what we do and where do we hope it will take us?
Behind questions we find reasons and behind reasons we find satisfaction. That satisfaction is the desire to gratify oneself and justify our existence, to get the very most out of life, our riding, to have fun!
At Amplid we ask these questions daily. They give us the greater understanding with which to strive to make the ultimate ride. Through appreciation of what it is one feels at the end of an epic day Amplid is able to design and build the shred with which you can realise and let flow these feelings. What if you could bottle the emotions felt at the end of that mentioned epic day, when you're in the car park with your friends and you've just dropped 3.000 ft. of vertical fresh? Or what about the satisfaction of nailing that kicker or rail you only thought others could do, What if?
Don‘t forget there are reasons behind things. Have a closer look!
