The ideal mix of snappy livelyness with the nice dose of dampening - this is what poplar consists of. Durable along the edges, light along the centerline. Camber forever, snap forever, control forever. Tip to tail. What else.
AMPLID P5 BONKPROOF WOOD CORE
Light and bonkproof, this is what the P5 woodcore is all about. Light in swing weight and surviving A-frame desasters, kink landings and 3G wallrides at the same time. Solid poplar all the way, for solid landings all the time. Tip to tail. All the way.
UD SUBBINDING GLASS MATRIX
An extra reinforcing glass layer in the binding area will make sure your bindings stay where they are meant to be. Its special unidirectional weaving will guarantee a harmonic, continuos flex curve while holding the bindingscrews safely. Even after a bigger drop...
CARBON STRATO BIAX
This is how we make the lightest and snappiest snowboards and skis in our product range. The Carbon Strato Biax is used in combination with our Glassfiber Light Biax to maintain the necessary foregiveness in extreme riding situations.
CARBON GLASS NOBLE BLEND BIAX
Longitudinal glass fibers take care of enough elasticity (attention: "elastic" does NOT mean "soft" !!!) throughout the overall flex. The 90 carbon fibres support torsional rigidity which results in snappier, more aggressive riding.
GLASSFIBER LIGHT BIAX
Using glassfiber will always be the more foregiving way to build a board or a ski. We are using high durability biax glass for the perfect torsion-longitudinal flex ratio. This provides snowboards and skis with a character riders simply love.
GLASSFIBER IMPACT BIAX
Landing on rails, bonking trucks or jibbing tourists: Riding nowadays calls for a new definition of "durability". Our Impact Biax Glass makes our toys more durable, without making’em more rigid or cutting out the snap you need for popping ollies.
DOOMSDAY CAMBER
In order to improve longevity of the camber, we use pre-stretched fibers in our waivings. Even after 500 tail landings or 50.000 turns - flat planks after year I belong to the past. Camber forever!!!
LIQUIDECK
A topsheet in a bottle: The Amplid LiquiDeck is made out of an epoxy based juice, applied onto the upper laminate, replacing the conventional topsheet. Part of our secret recipe to get to a 2.5 kg featherlight snowboard.
ABUSE BASE TECHNOLOGY
The metal grid coating behind the sintered Hyper Dense Base® III distributes and subsequently lowers the heat occuring from the grind impact. The cooler base material allows the elements to quickly return to their original state. Heat deformation is history.
T.P.U. SPIN TIPS
In order to facilitate spinning we’ve cut out some weight by using superlight T.P.U. tip spacers in all our snowboards and skis. Try to pull off a 7er and you might be ending up sticking a 1200.
1X8 INSERT PATTERN
Skis with Inserts*: Mount your skibindings without drilling. Use one pair of binding on your park- or big mountain ski. Works exclusively with our amplid sliderplate for all our bindings.Note that all inserts skis feature also additional UD glass for traditional drilling. (*optional)
2X4 INSERT PATTERN
All our snowboards feature a 2x4 insert pattern for max micro adjustment of your personal riding stance. Fits all 4x4 standard snowboard bindings, but rides best with ours. 20 inserts on all boards except Paradigma UNW8 (16 for weight reduction)
ELLIPTIC NOSE SCOOP LINE
In order to improve floatation in powder, we designed elliptical cavities for freerideboards to create our freeride nose scoop. Less flip over the nose, less fatigue, less submarine = more runs per day (sometimes quantity = quality!).
FMC BEZIER SPLINE SIDECUT
FMC? For mathematical correctness. All our boardshapes are designed in a 3-D CAD program in the bezièr-mode, instead of using a simple radius. Because this is the arc YOU are pulling. The result is a physically correct board which definately rides better.
AMPLID WAIST BOX
99% of all shark bites (=blown out edges after rock impact !) occur underneath the bindings. Perpendicular fibers help to reinforce the ABS-sidewall and the edge ancor to prevent destruction.
22° SLANTED ABS SIDEWALLS
All our ABS sidewalls feature a 22° slanted grinding for maximum edge control and edge preparation. Physically this angle is also the best solution against shark bites and rail dings: 22° = less blown out edges !!! Got it !?
MAGMA EDGE SHOCK ABSORBER
A thin Polyurethan rubber band between the steel edge and the ABS sidewall swallows shocks and vibration and stabilizes high speed rides and big air landings. More control, better riding.
360O WRAP AROUND STEEL EDGE
Instead of heavy tip protectors or old school anti-delams-rivets we wrap our extra hardened steel edges 360°around the snowboards and skis. This results into a more durable yet lightweight construction.
SUPER GLOSS UV COATING
Bling, blinger, Amplid.
A topsheet finish at its blingest. Our final UV top coating turns the surface into a mirror you can either shave your beard in or powder your nose, depending on your gender, of course.

SINTERED GE 7.2 SONICSPEED BASE/STONE FINISH
Our sintered GE 7.2 Lightspeed base is the fastest sole material the industry has to offer right now. GE? Gap everything! Or have you ever NOT cleared a road gap? Our stone grinders make sure the bases are finished as soft as a pent pals ass.
EXTRUDED BA 4.4 DURASPEED BASE/STONE FINISH
The extruded "Bonk it All" BA 4.4 Duraspeed is a bit more durable when it gets to handrail abrasion and is the better solution for the wax-lazy shred head. But still fast enough to land in the flat after any kicker. Stonefinish. Obviously
