The new 2011/12 UNW8 is a HEX02-weapon baked in the reknown moulds of our Paradigma, it was conceived for maximum response, even on slick-ass hardpack.
Extra torsional stability, for both ollie-pop and precision landings. Incredible edge control, and the ability to exit super-fast out of turns, make this board every expert's dream.
Probably the lightest board on this planet.

TECHNICAL FEATURES
HEXO2 CORE TECHNOLOGY
Take a Helio P15 wood core, cut out swing weight where necessary and replace it with a honeycomb structure made from recycled paper. The result is the lightest shred our factory has ever produced with virtually zero swing weight.
HEX MAT GLASS EPOXYD MATRIX
Prepreg biax specially developed for our Hexo2 technology. Arrives at the factory in a freezer truck and reacts at room temperature. The best option to control glue dosage, save weight and waste by minimizing resin surplus. Mixed with our Hexo2 cores = Light!
P.L.T. GLOSS UV COATING
Like bling? This is a topsheet finish at its “blingest”. Our crackproof, environmental friendly UV coating turns the topsheet into a mirror. Use it to make sure you're always looking good on hill!
V-POP CARBON STRINGER
4 carbon strands reinforcing the power transfer from your feet to the board. This results in tons of torsional response where it's needed - amplifies edge precision, turn acceleration, and ollie pop.
MAGMA EDGE SHOCK ABSORBER
A thin Polyurethane rubber strip between the edge and sidewall. Swallows shock and vibration for stability while haulin' ass and stomping landings. A better, more controlled ride.
360° WRAP AROUND STEEL EDGE
Instead of heavy tip protectors or oldschool anti-delam rivets we wrap extra-hardened steel edges 360° around our snbs. The result is a more durable lightweight construction.
FLY TIPS
By leaving out the core and TPU spacer material we are able to taper down the tip profile and reduce weight to a minimum. The result is the most playful nose and tail the world has ever ridden!
DOOMSDAY CAMBER
To improve longevity of camber, reverse or traditional, we use pre-stretched fibers in all our weavings! Land on your tail 500 times or take 50,000 turns. Your snb or skis will still have its original camber!
MC BEZIER SPLINE SIDECUT
MC? Mathematically Correct. All our snb and ski shapes are designed in a 3D CAD program in Bezier-mode instead of simple radius. The result is a “physically” correct snb or ski, which definitely rides better.
22° SLANTED ABS SIDEWALLS
All snb sidewalls feature a 22° slant for maximum edge control and tuning. Physically this angle is the best solution against shark bites and rails dings. 22° = fewer blown out edges and better power transmission!!!
SINTERED GE 7.2 LIGHTSPEED BASE
The transparent sibling of the Nano Highspeed Base, fast and dense, yet light and wax absorbing. GE stands for “Gap Everything” which should explain everything.
SHRED READY
All our snbs and skis run through the same shred ready post manufacturing grinding process: Polish, wax, polish, manual removal of any edge burr. Take your new shred straight to snow and ride off…
