Double Success for the A.R.C. at the TTR Tour

Jan Michaelis Wins “Shred Down Austrian Master”
Stefan Falkeis Austrian Champion

Last weekend some of the best European snowboarders gathered at Innsbruck’s Superpipe up at Seegrube, to fight for the crown at the Shred Down Austrian Masters.

Olympic competitor and A.R.C. member Jan Michaelis from Germany seemed to have a strong weekend: He won the BEST TRICK category on Saturday during the jam session with a extremely high and stylish Cab 10. During the Sunday finals he won both the “Legend’s Category” as well as the overall ranking.

His A.R.C. team mate Stefan Falkeis ended up 4th in the finals, but could take home the “Austrian Halfpipe Champion” as being the best Austrian.

The event is a combination of the Shred Down Austrian Masters Superpipe competition (TTR 3* event) in Innsbruck (Nordpark) and the Shred Down Austrian Masters Slopestyle competition (TTR 3* event) in Westendorf where the best 3 men, best 3 girls and best 3 rookies of every Austria Cup tour stop fight it out for the title of the Austrian Slopestyle Champion. The slopestyle competition will take place from 5 March to 7 March in Westendorf.
