The problem with nature is that you can never expect it to do what you want. The fourth stop of the tour had to be relocated from Kirkwood in Tahoe to Snowbird resort in Utah because of poor snow conditions in the Californian resorts. Heavy snowfalls in Utah were making the venue even more promising for the riders and spectators alike. Unfortunately, yesterday, when the event was due to take place, the bottom half of the venue slid in an avalanche, removing all of the snow and making the venue unrideable. The FWT team are now busy scouting a new venue in Snowbird and the surround Wasatch Mountains. In the meantime John's got plenty of time to shred fresh pow in his adopted home resort.
