Some would argue that even in an Olympic year that X Games is the ultimate contest on the calendar. McRae was the only skier in Slopestyle's eight man final that isn't going to the Olympics, but showed the viewers and the US Team coaches why he should have had the nod.

The road to Sochi for Cartel rider McRae Williams isn't without it's bumps. Last week at the Dew Tour McRae pulled-off a solid 9th place finish after dislocating his shoulder in qualifying. After qualifying for the finals of the Copper Mountain Grand Prix finals on Thursday, McRae is about to face the toughest field of riders to date.
Aspen Snowmass put together this tasty little edit of team rider McRae Williams and fellow X Games competitor Matt Walker familiarising themselves with the X Games slopestyle course. McRae and his Antidogmas look to have the course on lock so fingers crossed for the Slopestyle Eliminators on Friday.
