Last February I happened to experience the best week of snowboarding in my 30 years of riding sideways. It took place in a hidden powder bowl below the Gjeravica mountain in Kosovo. Maybe not known to many, but the Adriatic coastal mountain range happens to get huge powder storms when conditions click. Imagine Japan quality powder but 2 hours flight from Munich...

The Amplid Surf Shuttle is all you need if you are looking for a splitboard to ride powder. Thanks to its shape, it is guaranteed to be a splitboard which floats really well on powder, spring corn, and it will feel stable even shredding ugly crusty snow. Obviously, it doesn’t feel as light as the Millisurf, but quite frankly, Amplid has really succeeded in keeping the weight very low for a bomb proof construction.
