Freeskier Mats Bjorndal is an Amplid sponsored rider from Norway. Like every shred-crazy Norwegian, summer wouldn't be complete without a trip to the Folgefonna glacier, where 24 hour light allows for some great park sessions. Mats put together this quality edit from footage shot during his visit.

Finnish freeskier Daniel Antell was recently invited by the Finnish Ski Federation to compete at the World Championships in Kreischberg, Austria. As his first major international contest, although Daniel didn't make it through to the ten man final, he did stomp his run. And, completely by surprise we found him adorning the BBC's TV coverage thumbnail!
The Syntax is a ski that has been endlessly tweaked and tuned over the years to reach perfection. Developed with the input of Amplid's top team riders, past and present, it's a true flagship ski for Amplid. In March we shipped a pair of Syntax to Skieur Magazine to check that our pride wasn't misplaced and the ski ended up winning a "Tester's Choice" Award.
The Syntax is a ski that everybody at Amplid is proud of, and it's been a favourite with the team since day 1. Sometimes though it's good to send skis out to testers to get some independent opinion. Last February we shipped Eric from Exotic skis a pair of Syntax to test. Eric's more "all-mountain slayer" than "park rat" so we were interested to see what he had to say.
In four days the Dew Tour kicks off in Breckenridge, Colorado. For many of the riders competing in the contests the annual pilgrimage has begun. One such rider is Amplid Cartel rider McRae Williams whose car is speeding towards the Centennial State as you read this.

Finnish Season Begins

Over the next couple of weeks ski resorts in the Northern Hemisphere will open in their hundreds. As they do our Team riders gradually stir into action with updates. New team signing Kevin Salonius shared a snap from opening day at his local hill.

The plans for the second installment of Just Passing Thru are coming together. Just found this edit a couple of days ago, showing ARC rider Tom Wallisch on his Syntax. Very nice riding, good cam, awesome tunes.
