Acting on a team rider demand, Amplid’s R&D team set to work developing a ski that combines the buttery feel of a mid-wide rocker ski with the control and swing weight of a slopestyle ski. The result is the Antidote, a ski that’s pushing park riding into a more creative direction, a direction where style and line-choice are king.
The Antidote‘s one-of-a-kind, shaping is the result of Jekyll & Hyde Geometry’s principles being adapted to a true twin ski. Its long, wide, low-rising tips are perfect for buttering and pressing. To boost the buttery-ness the Antidote has a Camrock profile with a small dose of camber underfoot and plenty of rocker in the tips. A Carbon Pop Band running from tip-to-tail along the centreline prevents washout.
Abuse Base Technology, an Extruded 4 base and Amplid’s tough Hard Core protect the Antidote against damage caused by everyday park skiing.
Amplid’s Camrock profile blends underfoot camber with rocker tips. A length of camber under the boot provides grip and reverse camber in the tips increases playfulness and deep snow performance. This ski-specific camber manifests itself in various forms in Amplid’s skis; skis intended for deep snow have a smaller camber area and increased rocker to improve floatation and fluidity.

A narrow band of uni-directional carbon stringers that run through the centreline of a ski or snowboard from tip-to-tail increasing pop and extending flex memory without altering torsional stiffness.
Amplid uses Triaxial glass in the majority of its skis for greater torsional rigidity, which in layman’s terms means more grip and response.

A smooth kick radius and fuller tip outline improves deep snow floatation without adding swing weight.
A thin, weightless metal coating placed between the bottom layer of fiberglass and the base. The metal gauze conducts heat created by sliding rails and boxes away from hot spots on the base preveventing damaging heat deformation.
