Blessed with 120mm of girth underfoot and a rocker-line with less resistance than a dolphin’s undercarriage, the Hill Bill glides effortlessly on top of fresh snow. When the snow is thigh-high and our team riders need buoyancy, it’s the Hill bill they choose.
Limited ski taper and minimal setback make the Hill Bill ideal for creative skiers who want the option to ski switch in powder. A short running length, the consequence of exaggerated Jekyll & Hyde Geometry, brings the widest part of the ski closer to the binding. This clever shaping increases the Hill Bill’s agility and playfulness, and reduces swing weight.
New this winter a Carbon Pop Band along each ski increases tail resistance for planting landings and adds extra boost from transitions.
Amplid’s Camrock profile blends underfoot camber with rocker tips. A length of camber under the boot provides grip and reverse camber in the tips increases playfulness and deep snow performance. This ski-specific camber manifests itself in various forms in Amplid’s skis; skis intended for deep snow have a smaller camber area and increased rocker to improve floatation and fluidity.

This superlight wood core is the industry standard for lighteweight, durable and versatile performance. We’ve tweaked this core so many times over the years there’s nothing left to improve.
A narrow band of uni-directional carbon stringers that run through the centreline of a ski or snowboard from tip-to-tail increasing pop and extending flex memory without altering torsional stiffness.
Running along the topsheet in a V-configuration from the contact points towards the bindings, these narrow bands of Basalt fabric dampen unwanted vibrations, reducing rider fatigue and keeping you edge engaged with the snow for improved control. Get the Rolls Royce feeling!
Amplid uses Triaxial glass in the majority of its skis for greater torsional rigidity, which in layman’s terms means more grip and response.
Max effective edge and square centimeters for floatation in the minimum board or ski length. Unsinkable, but nimble pow shreds, sawn-off jib decks with huge pop and insane edge-hold or the ultimate all-mountain ski shape recipe.
Ultra wide, low rising tips that exist purely to create lift in powder without sucking-up speed. They add a surfy feel to skis and snowboards.
Amplid’s ultra-high density sintered base goes like shit-off-a-shovel in all snow conditions. It is extremely hard and therefore more resistant to damage.
