This winter we took the Ego Trip right back to its original concept and started over. The only similarities between the Ego Trip Evolution and its predecessor are the first two words in its name. The all-new Evo is a much lighter touring ski than the archetype and its new Rockwell-inspired five dimensional shaping adds complete performance that doesnt dictate how or what you ski. The Evo's featherweight HEXO2 construction trims noticeable weight from the ski, making it one of the lightest all-mountain touring skis available. Retaining a majority wood core and sidewall construction keeps it confident and sure-footed in steep terrain and variable snow conditions, and repairable in the result of an edge blow-out. Flat tails prevent the annoying slipping and peeling of climbing skins.Sometimes the only way to evolve is to start from the beginning.
S-Rocker, the ultimate freeride camber-line, features a blend of cleverly placed camber and rocker. Rocker in the nose aids floatation and improves deep snow agility. A conservative amount of set-back camber improves tail hold in icy conditions and adds stiffness just where you need it; for stomping big landings, styling dramatic slashes and scrubbing speed.
Spin to win with effortless style. Amplid’s HEXO2 core replaces specific areas of weightier wood at the tips with featherlight recycled paper honeycomb, practically eliminating swing weight,
Using Biaxial Glass in the construction of our shreds gives them a flawless blend of response and playfulness whilst keeping them ridiculously lightweight.
Max effective edge and square centimeters for floatation in the minimum board or ski length. Unsinkable, but nimble pow shreds, sawn-off jib decks with huge pop and insane edge-hold or the ultimate all-mountain ski shape recipe.
A smooth kick radius and fuller tip outline improves deep snow floatation without adding swing weight.
A premium sintered plastic which readily absorbs wax and will out-run your riding buddies’ bases without breaking a sweat. You better get used to waiting.
