As the air rushing past your ears creates a deathly roar, you’ll be surprised by the quiet efficiency of the skis beneath your feet. Civilized in the rowdiest of terrain, the White Noise is a Big Mountain ski which excels when skied with conviction and authority.
An overhaul to its construction, including an upgrade to new Titanal Centribelt 2.0, sheds hundreds of grams from the White Noise’s weight. This White Noise is far less exclusive than its predecessor thanks to fine adjustments to its flex and camber, and a little extra tip height.
We’ve tamed this ferocious, freeride animal a touch, but don’t be fooled, it’ll still eat-up gnarly terrain at high velocity and spit out the bones.
A half-fat camber for all-mountain dominance. Its toned-down dimensions deliver a precise and lively feel much like Pop Camber, but with much improved deep snow performance and a more “broken-in” feel out of the shrink-wrap. In Amplid’s directional snowboards a touch of early rise is added to Cruise Camber to improve buoyancy even further.

This superlight wood core is the industry standard for lighteweight, durable and versatile performance. We’ve tweaked this core so many times over the years there’s nothing left to improve.
A countersunk band of Titanal metal, above and below the core, reduces chatter at high speed, increases torsional stiffness for better grip and intensifies pop.
A smooth kick radius and fuller tip outline improves deep snow floatation without adding swing weight.
Amplid’s ultra-high density sintered base goes like shit-off-a-shovel in all snow conditions. It is extremely hard and therefore more resistant to damage.
An advanced composite damping technology, developed in house at Amplid, which reduces unwanted vibrations for a smoother more controlled ride.
Blending different radii in the sidecut allows Amplid’s engineers to fine-tune a ski’s behaviour at different stages of a turn. Exciting and predictable, these sidecuts love velocity!
