While it might never dethrone the Milligram, the Creamer Split is the underdog splitboard in Amplid’s collection that delivers solid performance, great board feel and astounding value for money.
Featuring the geometry as its high-rolling brother the Milligram, but with a more economical construction, the Creamer thrives in the backcountry, whatever the terrain or snow conditions. In powder its curvaceous, smooth-rising nose and subtle pin-tail provide abundant lift. In trickier conditions, ample effective edge, plenty of camber and vibration taming Basalt Suspension Strips keep the edges biting.
Amplid's custom board hooks create a secure and dependable connection between the board halves and allow the hardware to be hidden within the board, keeping its base smooth and bolt free.
In our experience this is the perfect camber-line for no-compromise, allmountain inspired, powder shredding. Subtle rocker in the tips generate lots of lift at low speeds and an out-of-this-world, weightless feel at speed. Underfoot camber transmits power at its best and helps for increased traction when skinning.

This superlight wood core is the industry standard for lighteweight, durable and versatile performance. We’ve tweaked this core so many times over the years there’s nothing left to improve.
Running along the topsheet in a V-configuration from the contact points towards the bindings, these narrow bands of Basalt fabric dampen unwanted vibrations, reducing rider fatigue and keeping you edge engaged with the snow for improved control. Get the Rolls Royce feeling!
Using Biaxial Glass in the construction of our shreds gives them a flawless blend of response and playfulness whilst keeping them ridiculously lightweight.
Ultra wide, low rising tips that exist purely to create lift in powder without sucking-up speed. They add a surfy feel to skis and snowboards.
Amplid’s ultra-high density sintered base goes like shit-off-a-shovel in all snow conditions. It is extremely hard and therefore more resistant to damage.
We lightly round the edges at the tip and tail, outside of the effective edge. Blunting these edges reduces chipping to the topsheet during skinning.
Using threaded bolts instead of rivets allows broken tip clips to be easily replaced, on the hill, without the need for a workshop full of tools.
Tough, pre-cured composite impact plates placed beneath bindings and touring hardware significantly reduce the risk of topsheet dings and breakages.
Forged aluminium board hooks, designed in-house by Amplid’s R&D team, offer a dependable, but weightless connection between board halves and have a slick matt black aesthetic.
