There’s nothing outlandish about its geometry and although the Creamer’s construction isn’t Amplid’s most sophisticated, this freeride thoroughbred’s no-nonsense design philosophy is fundamental to its line-crushing abilities.
Its long, low-rising nose and slightly tapered (6mm) geometry give the Creamer an attacking riding position which aggressive snowboarders will love. Edge hold that can be relied on is critical in exposed terrain, Direction Cruise Camber distributes pressure evenly along the entire edge for steadfast grip in all conditions. Expertly positioned TCA reinforcements add energy to its flex and dampen destabilizing vibrations… the Creamer will handle tough conditions without making a fuss.
When freeriding involves adrenaline-fuelled backcountry missions, euro-carving trenches and launching stylish airs from natural transitions the Creamer is the connoisseur’s choice.
In our experience this is the perfect camber-line for no-compromise, allmountain inspired, powder shredding. Subtle rocker in the tips generate lots of lift at low speeds and an out-of-this-world, weightless feel at speed. Underfoot camber transmits power at its best and helps for increased traction when skinning.

This superlight wood core is the industry standard for lighteweight, durable and versatile performance. We’ve tweaked this core so many times over the years there’s nothing left to improve.
A narrow band of uni-directional carbon stringers that run through the centreline of a ski or snowboard from tip-to-tail increasing pop and extending flex memory without altering torsional stiffness.
Running along the topsheet in a V-configuration from the contact points towards the bindings, these narrow bands of Basalt fabric dampen unwanted vibrations, reducing rider fatigue and keeping you edge engaged with the snow for improved control. Get the Rolls Royce feeling!
Using Biaxial Glass in the construction of our shreds gives them a flawless blend of response and playfulness whilst keeping them ridiculously lightweight.
Ultra wide, low rising tips that exist purely to create lift in powder without sucking-up speed. They add a surfy feel to skis and snowboards.
Amplid’s ultra-high density sintered base goes like shit-off-a-shovel in all snow conditions. It is extremely hard and therefore more resistant to damage.
Tough, pre-cured composite impact plates placed beneath bindings and touring hardware significantly reduce the risk of topsheet dings and breakages.
