At 102mm underfoot, the Superplayer is the skinniest member of Amplid’s Player Series, delivering the perfect 50/50 compromise between on and off piste performance.
Inspired by the geometry of the infamous Multiplayer, but with shorter tips, more effective edge and a narrower waist, the Superplayer compromises a little deep snow floatation for gains in grip and responsiveness. Its lengthened underfoot camber-zone and trimmed-back early-rise create the perfect platform for carving turns and launching airs from.
Like all Player Series skis, the Superplayer is supercharged with Targeted Composite Application: A full length, base-side Carbon Pop Band and Basalt Suspension Strips, located in the tips with a V-arrangement, add snap and soothe vibrations.
Mountain-minded Freeskiers in need of a do-everything shred just hit the jackpot.
Amplid’s Camrock profile blends underfoot camber with rocker tips. A length of camber under the boot provides grip and reverse camber in the tips increases playfulness and deep snow performance. This ski-specific camber manifests itself in various forms in Amplid’s skis; skis intended for deep snow have a smaller camber area and increased rocker to improve floatation and fluidity.

This superlight wood core is the industry standard for lighteweight, durable and versatile performance. We’ve tweaked this core so many times over the years there’s nothing left to improve.
A narrow band of uni-directional carbon stringers that run through the centreline of a ski or snowboard from tip-to-tail increasing pop and extending flex memory without altering torsional stiffness.
Running along the topsheet in a V-configuration from the contact points towards the bindings, these narrow bands of Basalt fabric dampen unwanted vibrations, reducing rider fatigue and keeping you edge engaged with the snow for improved control. Get the Rolls Royce feeling!
Amplid uses Triaxial glass in the majority of its skis for greater torsional rigidity, which in layman’s terms means more grip and response.
Max effective edge and square centimeters for floatation in the minimum board or ski length. Unsinkable, but nimble pow shreds, sawn-off jib decks with huge pop and insane edge-hold or the ultimate all-mountain ski shape recipe.
Ultra wide, low rising tips that exist purely to create lift in powder without sucking-up speed. They add a surfy feel to skis and snowboards.
Amplid’s ultra-high density sintered base goes like shit-off-a-shovel in all snow conditions. It is extremely hard and therefore more resistant to damage.
