Last weekend Splitboarding.eu hosted its Spring gathering at the Amberger Huette in Stubaital. Late season snowfalls had provided enough snow for easy access to the surrounding peaks from their base. Amplid's Alex Proyer joined the party.
For those lucky enough to be living in the mountains, pre-season glacier riding is a great opportinity to polish rail and kicker skills in sometimes spring-like conditions before mid-winter sets in. Ambush rider Juergen Nigg has been at Stubai for the last few days doing exactly that.
