This weekend the Tirol's winter season kicks-off with the Hotzone Park Opening and Amplid will be there with a whole stack of 14/15 test boards. With sunny weather on the cards, a park jam packed full of jumps and jibs for all levels of rider and one of the best parties in snowboarding, you'd be a fool to miss it.
New and shiny 14/15 products are arriving in the Amplid warehouse daily, but until the 13th of October not everything will be on stock. If you order now your new shred will be with you by October the 17th at the latest, but if you need it before this date it's best to email us and check.

Spring Break

Billed as the #bestweekoftheyear (complete with hashtag), Spring Break is held on the Kaunertal Glacier at the end of April, every year. The event brings together the UK snowboard scene to test 14/15 snowboards, shred Kaunertals legendary groomers and party into the small hours. Amplid was there with its UK distributor Ultrasport.
It's almost the end of May so unless you have a flight booked for New Zealand or are planning to hit summer camp, the likelihood is that your thinking about summer. To us summer means adventure. So why not follow Pally'Hi ambasador Nic as he travels down Morocco's Atlantic coast discovering new surf spots and a unique culture.

Amplid Demo Weekend

Get yourself down to the Long Board Classic in Stuben, Austria, or to the Alpine Splitfest in Kandersteg, Switzerland, this weekend because Amplid will be there with a demo fleet.
Last month chief editor Victor and the rest of the Splitboard Mag crew were in Tavascan, a small freeride resort in the Spanish Pyrenees to test some of the key splitboards to be released in the 14/15 season. You know with Splitboard Mag you're getting real opinions.
On March the 9th the legendary Val d'Aran freeride contest will take place at Baqueira Beret in the Spanish Pyrenees. If it's anything like last year, expect fast lines and big drops from the guys and girls risking life and limb down this feature filled face.

In Europe, the 2013/14 winter season will be remembered as the winter that the splitboard scene in Europe really established itself. This year tens of splitboard festivals have popped-up all over the Alps enabling like-minded splitters to meet and shred with one-and-other . The Brauneck Splitboard Festival is one such festival.
