The 21/22 Freequencer

With the FREEQUENCER, we wanted to built the most bulletproof and most affordable splitboard on the market. I believe you won’t get “more splitboard” for the buck than you will with the FREEQUENCER. So what did we do to achieve that – pretty high – goal: The Freequencer is baked in the mould of our Milligram Split, but built to appeal to a broader spectrum of shredders.
 
Even though being more affordable than the Milli, no corners have been cut: It's still lightweight but it can take some severe beats, and that makes it a really reliable companion to get to the untracked. We all know that riding in the backcountry means “hitting a stone” at some point. For that simple reason we’ve added an all-black base which is really easy to repair.
We have also integrated impact plates underneath the bindings, to avoid dings and dents caused by sharp binding edges and corners. The shape is really versatile and works in all kinds of snow conditions. We have used a very harmonic biax-glass to provide a really smooth and forgining ride. The camber profile has an early rise nose for maximum floatation, plus a very smooth camber between the bindings to transmit the necessary hiking power for perfect traction on the way up.
The topsheet has a snowphobic structure, which means that snow won’t stick that easily, and the board stays light also during hiking. Obviously we are using our homegrown hooks and clips as splitboard hardware.
The hooks are slick and simple, made of superlight titanal. The clips are fixed with bolts, which can be re-adjusted any time. The Freequencer comes in 4 lengths: In a 153, 158, 163 and 166. We also offer precut mohair-blend skins – made in Austria by our friends at Kohla.
