A.R.C. rider Bibi Pekarek had a great come back after her break for almost one year and finished second in the steep and gnarly face of famous Bec.

"I have spent the last 3 or 4 months on the road and I try to be traveling all the time. This vid is of some footage I'm filming for my Stept Productions '09 movie. Riding for Amplid 22-year old US American Tom Wallisch was ranked 2nd. His team manager Peter Bauer celebrated some podium places in snowboarding here in Laax himself back in the early 90s and was very proud of his rider.

A.R.C. rider Bibi Pekarek is back on track and on her way to Verbier. Bibi had a break due to a bad knee injury last season which occured during a photoshoot for her clothing sponsor O'Neill.

But A.R.C. member Stefan Falkeis seemed to have HIS day: A perfect Cab 9 over the first kicker, a huge backside air and a BS5, combined with all kinds of bonks, nose- and tailpresses over the picknick-table, boxes and rails.

“I’m really stoked for my results of the past months. Thinking that pipe is my speciality, it looks like I am not that bad in park. Plus having victories both on the TTR and on the FIS tour opens possibilities for upcoming contests on both sides!”.

MEET AND GREET THE A.R.C. IN MUNICH - A crowded house at the Goodstuff Store in Munich

After a relaxed shred session at the local Spitzing Park in the bavarian alps, the Amplid Research
Cartel went straight to Munich to sign autographs for tons of fans.

Dew-Tour-Final winner Tom Wallisch from Salt Lake City, Stefan Falkeis who won the TTR Austrian
Halfpipe Championships yesterday, Benny Deeg (3rd at the Peanut Butter railjam yesterday) and
Teddy Berr rocked the house and stoked out lots of kids who pilgrimated to the temple of shred
a.k.a. Goodstuff Store.

A tombola elected one lucky winner who either choose a snowboard or a pair of ski. Jibmaster Tom
Wallisch himself did the drawing and handed out a pair of Townships a überhappy local shop kid.

In case you were wondering what Peter Ortmann does when he is not making pictures: Redefining the word “interior design”. Here comes Peter’s latest creation: the “Aggronym Cupboard”. Awesome P. !!!

Respectable results for the A.R.C. at the Burton-Stomp-It corner jump yesterday in Italy. Stefan Falkeis ended up 10th place. Amplid newcomer Ruggero Naccari on place 17th. The weekend continues successfully for the Amplid Research Cartel and the Antidogma: Wallisch was once more dominating the Big Air format with a very stylish cork7 and a nice “late” switch5shifty.
