Jonel Fricke, aka Mr Motivator, is one of the coolest guys to go snowboarding with. His love for snowboarding and stoke for being in the mountains is always immense and he can ride everything. Here's Jonel's 2014 season edit.
Amplid discovered new Cartel team rider Philip Toplitsch watching the trailer for The Amry's latest movie "ATTACK", so although Philip wasn't riding Amplid boards at the time we still wanted to share the full movie with the Blog's readers. Take 20 minutes out of your day and enjoy some great snowboarding!
Amplid Ambush team rider Mac Minikan and his partner in crime, Pat Pelikan, put together a short edit of some of their favourite shots from the last month of skiing Kitzsteinhorn's glacier park.
Cartel rider Alex Neurohr can ride it all, from steep alpine pillow lines to icy mega kickers. In this little edit, Alex takes you on board with him while he throws-down smooth tricks on Stubai Zoo's intimidatingly huge Pro line.

Mixtape - Awone Films

We've been looking forward to the latest release from the guys at Awone Films. Featuring the skiing and snowboarding of Awone's vast crew and in particular Amplid's very own Alex Neurohr, it's a true testament to the wealth of talent hidden in the valleys of French speaking Switzerland.

Progression in Stubai

For the last three weeks the Stubai Glacier in Austria has played host to most of the world's ski and snowboard pros. Hang around at the top of the park and you'll see the likes of Wallisch, Olson, Sandbech and Horgmo working hard in the pre-season. Finnish Ambush rider Daniel Antell travelled to Stubai to work on a few tricks and showed he can cut-it with the big names.
The Amplid Cartel's Alex Neurohr and the Awone Films crew show you around their secret spot. There's no chance they'll reveal where it is, but they sure as hell want you to know how good the place is! Next level backcountry freestyle from the guys; beautifully filmed and edited by Jules Guarneri.
For the last handful of winters, Amplid Cartel team rider Noah Albaladejo has booked a plane ticket out to the Mid-West and spent a number of weeks filming with the hugely progressive Stept Productions crew. This year's movie might be the last feature length movie the crew puts out for a while, but Noah certainly didn't take his foot off the gas.

Pre-Season in Finland

With glaciers in the Alps in pretty poor condition, many riders in Scandinavia are choosing to stay at home instead of spending it in Austria. Not great news for the Austrian tourist industry, but when you've got a 20m strech of man-made snow at home, who needs 500m of ice and slush?
Kevin Salonius spends all summer in his garden, but he's not planting Petunias, watering his prize marrows or weeding the flower beds. Nope, Kevin spends all summer in his garden working on new rail trick combinations for the season ahead. Here are some highlights from summer 2014.
Poor Boyz has been releasing world class movies for over a decade. Many skiers who are now household names built their fame off the back of a section in a Poor Boyz movie. This year Amplid's McRae Williams joins the fold and it looks like the movie will include his recent triple at the West Coast Sessions. Here's the trailer!
For 12 years the Martini Brothers and the rest of the Stept Crew have been pushing the boundaries of urban skiing and developing a unique, dark, cinematic style to showcase it. Stept's 14/15 release "Ten and Two" is the last release sticking to their current formula. Featuring the skiing of Amplid's Noah Albaladejo.
The most productive professional skier in the industry, Kevin Salonius, just dropped his 2013/14 season edit. The conditions in Finland might have been a nightmare last winter for the urban scene, but Kevin and 22 Productions managed to stack enough footage to assemble a banger season edit.
Kevin Salonius is one of the hardest working skiers there is. We added to his workload this summer and shipped him a new true twin, prototype park ski to put through its paces. Little did we know he'd like the ski so much that he'd film his entire summer edit riding it.

4bi9 Trailer - Burn

Last winter Cartel rider Luka Melloni earned the opportunity of a lifetime... filming with 4bi9 for their latest movie release, Burn. So Luka packed his Syntax, caught a flight out to Salt Lake City and showed his US peers what he's made of. Here's the teaser to get you hyped.
Are your skis running a bit slow up on the glacier in the soft summer slush? Do you think a stonegrind with a deep structure would help improve glide? Well, Cartel rider Kevin Salonius can help. Kevin's new stonegrind service guarantees the deepest structure money can buy.
Last winter in Helsinki was a washout, the number of good, cold days with a base of snow on the ground could be counted on fingers and toes. Poor conditions didn't stop Amplid's dark horse, Kevin Salonius, from filming urban. In February Kevin linked-up with Norway's Wordup Projects crew to film at some of the city's famous spots.
Whether it's house parties or season edits, the Hood Crew always put a unique spin on everything they do. THC member and Amplid team rider Tanner Boudreau might have missed 90% of last season with a knee injury but he's still managed to turn-out a great season edit, with a good slice of the usual Hood Crew madness.

Awone Mixtape Teaser

Movie season is fast approaching. Within the next few months you'll be exposed to hours of teasers from your favorite production companies. Awone Films, Amplid's favorite Swiss freeski crew, just dropped a little montage of shots for their latest project "Mixtape"... we like the "slow cook" approach to their teaser strategy.

Tribute Trailer

Off the back of phenomenal success with last winter's release Stammtisch, the Freeski-Crew is proud to release the trailer for their latest movie Tribute. This ode to the crew's hometown of Innsbruck, Austria, features the skiing of Ambush riders Juergen Nigg and Fex Althammer amongst others.

Junuary Trailer

Austrian rookie Christoph Buchegger and the rest of the Rogue Media crew spent last winter filming for their new edit Junuary. From urban in Sweden to pow in Salzburgerland it looks like the guys had a lot of fun.

A Winter Without Feet

Arthur Escoffier broke his ankle this winter, but that didn't stop him from racking-up the pow days or hitting booters in the park. In fact Arthur and his Hill Bill 88s rode pretty much everything that Grenoble's surrounding resorts had to offer this winter.

The Infamous Edit

Last winter Amplid's Finnish Ambush shredders Anton and Niklas migrated across the Atlantic to Colorado to spend three months of the winter honing their skills in Breckenridge's famous terrain parks. By the looks of their season wrap-up video it was time well spent.

SuperUnknown JibFest

Content from the SuperUnknown Finals at Snoqualmie, Washington has been coming thick and fast for the past fortnight and the flow doesn't look like it'll let-up any time soon. This latest edit by filmer Robin Lee captures the action of an spontaneus rail session during a down-day.
