It's that time of year again when European Ski Publication Downdays gathers the public's votes to determine its "Skier of the Year". This year Cartel riders Julien Lange and Noah Albaladejo have been nominated and they need your vote!
In his rookie season as professional skier, Kevin Salonius has spent the last five months travelling throughout Europe discovering the sports many disciplines. In April Kevin travelled to Grandvilira in Andorra to hang-out with team riders Luka Melloni, Pako Benguerel and Noah Albaladejo and film with future movie magnet Borja Azurmendi. In case you've been hiding under a rock or have been isolated in the Alaskan backcountry without an internet connection for the last month, you probably know that Cartel team skier Noah Albaladejo won the "Best Trick" and "Best Overall" prizes at the B&E Invitational. Well, he's teamed-up with Vavisual to release an edit with some highlights from the event.
SLVSH is the contest in which the world's best freeskiers battle against each other in a game of S.K.A.T.E. This week's episode has devided the Amplid camp, since Luka Melloni is skiing against Noah Albaladejo, both of whom are important members of the Cartel family.
Once a year Luka and Noah cross the borders of Andorra and Spain into the French Pyrenees for the Rail Trick Session in Font Romeu. This year the usual BBQ vibes were a little dampened by the heavy snowfall, but Luka and Noah proved once again that they're the guys to beat.

From 3pm (CET) today the B&E live broadcast will kick off. The contest hosted by Phil Casabon and Henrik Harlaut, in the French resort of Les Arcs, showcases the world's most stylish and creative skiers in a one of a kind, bowl park. This year Amplid's Noah Albaladejo will be riding.
Cartel rider Kevin Salonius obvioulsy made a big impression on the Level 1 team when he was at the SuperUnknown XI Finals, because when filmer Jonny Durst and riders Shay Lee and Sandy Boville took a trip to Finland, they called Kevin. Fresh from dropping an insane part in last winter's Stept movie, Noah Albaladejo also joined the trip.
Downdays has taken it upon itself to address the serious lack of European ski talent in this year's "Skier of the Year" nominations by creating its own poll for the title of "European Skier of the Year". Amplid's Julien Lange and Noah Albaladejo have both been included in the list of nominees and need your votes!
Last week Luka Melloni and Noah Albaladejo hosted a premiere for the movies they feature in this Fall, Stept's "Ten and Two" and 4bi9's "Burn". A whole crew of riders from the movies including ABM, Cam Riley, Karl Fostvedt and the Martini Brothers turned up to enjoy the evening too.
If you didn't know already, Iberia's finest, Luka Melloni and Noah Albaladejo, spent last winter filming with two of the most respected US film crews in the freeski world, 4bi9 and Stept. Since the boys can't get to the premieres of the movies in the US, they'll be running their own premiere for the movies in Barcelona... and you can join them.
Luka and Noah have had seasons to remember. With video parts in the bag with STEPT and 4bi9 for the 14/15 winter season and a handful of edits that have blown the freeski community's minds, we think big things are on the cards for these two rising stars. West Coast Winners

The first week of May is untouchable in the freeski events calendar. Now in its eighth year the West Coast Session has become THE event to end the winter season on. Luka, Noah and McRae joined the pilgrimage this year and ended-up bagging a handful of awards between them.
The invited riders list for 2014's West Coast Session are live. Amplid team riders Luka Melloni, Noah Albaladejo and McRae Williams will be travelling to Timberline resort in Oregon next week for ski season's final event.
