In case the courier service charges additional costs for remote addresses, we will contact the recipient prior to releasing the shipment.

Further Information for US & Canadian Customers:

Goods valued under 2.500 US$ qualify for “informal entry” into the US. A duty of 2.6% is levied by US customs on imported snowboards. 2.8% is applied snowboard bindings. Sales Tax is not automatically applied to imported goods by U.S. customs. However, Customs and Boarder Protection declarations are made available to state tax representatives that may occasionally claim state taxes. State taxes vary by state.

Goods imported to Canada are subject to independent Goods and Services Tax and Provincial Sales Tax or a single Harmonized Sales Tax. Taxes are applied to product cost + duties. There are no duties on imported snowboards, but taxes may vary from 8.5% to 15% depending on the destination province.

Although unlikely, because Amplid is careful to provide the necessary documentation when exporting goods outside of Europe, additional charges for forwarding and customs clearance may be charged to the end customer.
