Welcome to the Academy

The response to the Amplid Ambush Academy was incredible. Within a month the ARC had recieved hundreds of applications from talented riders wanting to be a part of the Academy for the 2012/13 season. Recieving the applications was the easy part; it then took an entire week to sort the applications and with the help [...]

McRae (Versace) Williams

McRae hasn’t quite made it to the catwalks of Milan although the podium at Modena wasn’t so far off. One of the jobs of being a pro skier is getting shots for your sponsors catalogues and ads. Last season McRae was invited to chill with the rest of the Orage freeski team in Keystone to [...]

Pre-Season LSM Style

Russia’s favorite freeskiing sons Dima, Yura and Alex hit Moscow’s indoor shred dome to limber-up for a season of urban assault, which means two things; 1) it’s almost winter and 2) LSM are creating another series of episodes around their 2012/13 winter. We’ll be glued to the series, that’s for sure.
We’ve had to wait three months since the epic trailer, but finally LSM’s latest full length release is here. A great follow up to Life Steeze Media’s ‘Russian Revival’, ‘My World’ featuring Dima, Alex, Yuriy and friends takes in all of Moscow’s latest urban spots.
This week Ed from BuOlOco questioned Amplid’s co-founder Peter Bauer about the dissappearing art of carving. RodoBoardin’

In case you haven’t heard, there wasn’t much snow in the US last season. That didn’t seem to stop Cartel rider John Rodosky finding what pow pow there was and building all-time kickers to propel himself into it. John put this little edit together of his 11/12 season. We agree with the words of Brandon [...]

I think it’s fair to say that it has been a good summer for Amplid riders at Windells, Mt. Hood. In one of the last edits of the summer months Amplid Cartel rider Steve Stepp and his buddies from his clothing sponsor SAGA shred the Windells slush tearing-apart all sorts of transitions, jibs and rails.
