Steve Stepp Gets the Red Epic Treatment

The progression of freestyle skiing and snowboarding over the last decade has been explosive. With the progression in riding has come an equally impressive improvement in film making, no doubt helped by the development of digital camera equipment and editing software. The current pinnacle of camera technology is the awesome RED Epic a camera capable of shooting 14 megapixel frames at a rate of 120 frames per second or greater than full 1080p HD resolution at 300 frames per second, enabling filmers to catch beautiful slow motion footage. With the camera body costing almost $40,000 (the cost of a high spec Audi) these cameras are rare, so Cartel rider Steve Stepp was one lucky guy getting the opportunity to ride in-front of a Red Epic lens for Park City’s shred series “I Ride Park City”. We will let the footage do the talking!
