This week the West Coast Session Team edits went live. Catch the videos on the WCS vimeo page and keep an eye-out for the white bases and green tips of the Cartel all riding next winter’s Syntax skis. Here’s a quick reminder of which Cartel riders were on which team. Steve Stepp and Luka Melloni teamed-up with the 4bi9 crew on Team Proho, the edit documents Steve battling with the psychological consequences of his crash at last year’s WCS on the big step-up.
Noah buddied-up with the Vital Films crew who in contrast to most of the teams put together a very slick and cinematic edit with some nice glidecam and slow-mo shots. Check Noah’s huge and smooth gap 450 on the flat-down box (00:45) and him taking the WCS monster hip to pieces.
McRae has a lengthy part in Team Epic Fail’s edit (2:24) and proves that he not only has more tricks in the bag than most but does them with a smooth effortless style. McRae also dismantles the WCS Money Booter in an incredible sunset shoot.
