Constructed with durability in mind, the Tour Operator is a beacon of light for all committed split fiends whose seasons start with the first snowfall and end when the valley’s in shorts. This reliable workhorse packs in many of Amplid’s fabled technologies for a high-class riding experience, but with a friendlier psychogram that’s good to go straight out the box.
For 2023 tip- and tail holes that make mounting skins hassle-free have been added, plus new lengths are available this season to cater for smaller, lighter riders. In short, this a stress-free, unisex, do-anything dominator.
With our patented STRATOSPHERIC topsheet for an even easier uphill sensation.
The MOST VERSATILE award of the season goes to the Amplid Tour Operator, a true quiver-killer that is outstandingly adaptable and versatile. Its directional shape – with setback stance – low camber...
A half-fat camber for all-mountain dominance. Its toned-down dimensions deliver a precise and lively feel much like Pop Camber, but with much improved deep snow performance and a more “broken-in” feel out of the shrink-wrap. In Amplid’s directional snowboards a touch of early rise is added to Cruise Camber to improve buoyancy even further.

Running along the topsheet in a V-configuration from the contact points towards the bindings, these narrow bands of Basalt fabric dampen unwanted vibrations, reducing rider fatigue and keeping you edge engaged with the snow for improved control. Get the Rolls Royce feeling!
Using Biaxial Glass in the construction of our shreds gives them a flawless blend of response and playfulness whilst keeping them ridiculously lightweight.
A smooth kick radius and fuller tip outline improves deep snow floatation without adding swing weight.
Amplid’s ultra-high density sintered base goes like shit-off-a-shovel in all snow conditions. It is extremely hard and therefore more resistant to damage.
We lightly round the edges at the tip and tail, outside of the effective edge. Blunting these edges reduces chipping to the topsheet during skinning.
Using threaded bolts instead of rivets allows broken tip clips to be easily replaced, on the hill, without the need for a workshop full of tools.
Uber light wood varieties are cut, treated and aligned in a way only our factory knows. Its strength to weight ratio has scientists baffled.
Tough, pre-cured composite impact plates placed beneath bindings and touring hardware significantly reduce the risk of topsheet dings and breakages.
Forged aluminium board hooks, designed in-house by Amplid’s R&D team, offer a dependable, but weightless connection between board halves and have a slick matt black aesthetic.
Knuckle Sandwich replaces conventional materials prone to damage with more durable alternatives. It’s like Botox for your board, but without the trout pout.
Less heat, less sticky snow, less weight - Thanks to a special heat reflecting coating.
